Undergraduate course of environmental science has been started from July 1993. The Sevadal Education Society locate at East Nagpur started with Nursery Classes has now developed in to a well organized Sevadal Mahila Mahavidyalaya affiliated to Nagpur University. The Campus of the Institution is spread over an area of two acres and has idyllic surroundings in a rural setting. The campus is located on Umrer Road, Near Sakkardara Square, exactly in front of Government Ayurvedic College. This is the first Woman Science College in Vidarbha region having the distinction of being separate and independent environmental science department affiliated to Nagpur University, it is a unique case in Nagpur University. The degree level course B.Sc. in Environmental Science aims at providing an understanding of various environmental systems and their interrelationships. The programme further aims at developing the skills for tackling various environmental problems through the topics like environmental pollution, monitoring, management, conservation and concept of sustainable development.
